Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 26 2:05 pm)
Does the camera move maybe? It might have gotten kncoked behind something translucent. I'm having Animation troubles of my own that I posted in the Animations forum here. I've made an AVI of Scenery in Bryce for a driving scene in Poser. The AVI imnport's to Poser just fine. It renders as a single image just fine, but when I try to make a movie in Poser the resulting AVI is dark & grainy. Does anyone know the best Video Codec to use? I tried using DIvX 5.1 & MPEG-4. Both resulted in AVI's that are darker and grainier than a single frame image render from the same file.
I placed 3 walls up and left off the forth so the camera could have no obsticals in its way. The camera does follow the chariture but just turns as it follows the charitures walk. There is something within Poser causing this I'm sure. This is holding up my animation. I've tried every thing I could think of, including different lighting. Reset the Props in place form scratch, including Spot lights. As far as your background Animation behind Poser. My guess is that you rendered Bryce at a different ratio than what you rendered Your poser forground scene. Another solution might be if you have After Effects. That is the best way to handle layered Animations for a lot of reasons. Not nessacary the fastest way though.

I have bought the Castle Construcion Kit about a year ago. Its perfect for an animation I'm doing. I have made an animation with The Castle before,(same set up) My problem is, I use to be able to render an animation with a guy walking across the room and it came out correctly. Now every time I try to animate it I get a white transparent screen over every thing, the only thing that almost renders correctly is the guy walking across the floor. One other thing I noticed. I have the guy starting to walk in and opens the door, I can see him threw the door. I've tried lighting it with Posers lighting. I don't know what is causing this. I have no problems rendering anything else. Is it possible that the files are some how corrupt. every thing show up correctly flipping frame by frame. another thing I've noticed is the first frame show good light, then every frame afterwards gets this white trasparent screen over every thing. I've looked at the lighting to see if there were any changes during the keyframing, they remain the same. Thanks Brint.
