I am considering purchasing some extra PCs for a render farm (Rendercow 4.22), and I am interested in any experianced opinions. I have been impressed with the Mini PCs specs, especialy as the cows only have to have speed, memory, disk space, and a small price. Thoughts anyone?

My only thought would be that you probably won't find your farm useful with Poser, since the program doesn't have network rendering capability that I'm aware of. Maybe there's workarounds, but it doesn't support it directly like most other pro-level 3D software.

Tools :  3dsmax 2015, Daz Studio 4.6, PoserPro 2012, Blender v2.74

System: Pentium QuadCore i7, under Win 8, GeForce GTX 780 / 2GB GPU.

Well yes, I am using Vue to do my poser animation renders using mover 4.22, true this is more of a Vue feature than a poser one, but I find that the two packages are often used together these days, and I was interested in the poser comunities opinions. Poser 5 (I think) is renderman compatable, although I may be wrong? Not to mention the many other renderfarm capable packages used with poser, like Lightwave and Maya etc. Any renderfarm knowledge is an interest.
