Hi can someone tell if a persons suppost to do this?
I got this IM from jennifertimberlake01 it looks like she's trying to get you to go to her site to buy pictures not from Renderosity, plus the fact it's an Ansel adems photo, bother's me even more, here's what she sent me, I don't think this should happen at Rendersity, it's got nothing to do with ,it's not even her art,
Thanks Tina aka Ladyhawk

Subject: Need your help

Instant Message from jennifertimberlake01: Hi! I am working on a paper for school and was wondering if you could help me by giving me your feelings on this photo taken by Ansel Adams. Here is the link to the picture http://www.masters-of-photography.com/A/adams/adams_monolith_full.html. After you check out the picture let me know what your feelings are on the picture. and I will give you credit on what you say when I use it in my paper. you can send your response to me on this sight. Homework sheesh :( My son is getting this sort of thing as homework from school too. I'd say it's all above board, the IM doesn't sound like she's trying to sell you something & the link has a small ad for one of those poster selling sites is all.

Well.. there is no rule about asking people for help. It all comes down to what that paper is about. Is it "give your opinion about that picture" ? or is it, "survey x number of people and report how many different opinions people have about that picture" If it is #1, then I say she is expecting you to do the homework for her. If it is #2, she should be a little more explicit about her request.

well why I asked is I get e-mails like this & they always turn out to be a porn site,or like that 1 a small picture of something, how on earth can you tell anything from somwething that small, you can't, but there's aways an ad just happens to be of the picture she's doing the so called home work on, if she is doing home work can she not come up with a thought of the picture, why not ask people you know?
thats just my thoughts, give me prof it's really homework, like name of school, class how to get ahold of they to find out if it's real

All I ever get is offers of cheap Viagra, they'll never get my coffin lid shut at this rate ;)

Are these IM's via Renderosity's system? I never get unsolicited IM's, unless it's from an artisit about a product I have purchased. {:|
