Subject: Getting Clothes To Fit

DokieMaster ( ) posted Thu, 08 April 2004 at 11:26 AM ยท edited Wed, 14 August 2024 at 5:25 PM

When everyone had Michael and Victoria, I only had the original Poser characters. Now I have Michael 2 and Victoria 2 and everyone else has graduated to M3 and V3.

Anyway, how do I get clothes to fit (especially multiple layers of clothes - jacket over vest over shirt, etc.,) Is postwork the only option?

I have found that hiding the offending body parts so they don't show through doesn't work in my case. Most of my problem characters are pot-bellied so their guts stick through their shirts. Hiding their stomach gives the appearance of their being slim again since the clothes don't have the same morphs as the body.

Thanks!

Unless you use "The Tailor" or something like it, the only other option you have is to use magnets, or another 3D app to make custom morphs. If you don't want to get into creating your own morphs, then I recommend "The Tailor."

I got a demo of The Tailor but I didn't see where it did anything. The figure I tried to load was short and fat but the model displayed in The Tailor's 3D window just looked like the same old Victoria model to me. Any other programs that are supposed to be similar to Tailor? Maybe I could try on of those.

Clothes Converter. Here in MP. Way better than Tailor in my opinion.
