Subject: how to parent hair...?

hi there, i can't seem to get the hair connected to the head..... maybe someone can tell me how to parent hair...? so that it will follow my model when it's moving t.i.a. snoofduis@hotmail.com

Usually, what you want to do is select the hair, then choose Figure: Conform To and then select your figure (usually Figure 1). It should parent the hair to the head for you. If that doesn't work, try selecting the hair, then do Figure: Set Figure Parent and select your character's head in the directory of parts that pops up. It really depends on whether you are using a hair .hr2 file or a hair prop or a hair character. But one of those should work for you. Hope that helps :)

Whoops. I almost forgot, one other trick if all else fails, just move the hair into a good position with your x,y,z trans and when it's prefectly adjusted on the head, just select the hair and do Figure: Lock Figure. That way, when you pose the model, or apply a pose, the hair won't fall off the head. Just remember to unlock it if you need to do anything else with it, like move it or something.
