I made some textures for 3DUniverse's Power Pixie, available at DAZ. This is the first time I've thought I'd done good enough to show other people. Please tell me what you think of them. 8) Catlin

They're looking fantastic! I love the different colours, especially on the wings. The only thing I'd suggest is bringing the colours on the red pixie's abdomen down into the legs a little, at the moment the legs stand out a little compared to the rest of the texture. Apart from that, which is probably a personal thing, they all look absolutely excellent.

Uh, the Pixie is by #D universe.. the Power Pixie expansion is by me! ;) And I like em! BTW I made his head a separte material, so if you want to make a higher res head texture, you can! You might want to find some freebie bat wingfs, and add them to those as well! Great to see at least someone is playing with him!

Omgosh that is such a neat character, I can see him being everything from cute to creepy lol. I think I haven't really seen him before. Love him though. The textures look cool to I think you did a great job on them Catlin!

There are actually female morphs in him, fat body morphs, and more then you can shake a stick at! Catlin: Since you're making textures for him, you might also want to add some striped "fur" texture at the ends of his forearms and calves, to match the bigfoot morphs.

Sorry for the error Gareee, I've got both of them. But he's a great little critter and I love all the morphs for him, especially the Arnold+Bigfoot. His whole face can be moulded to make a real sweet little thing or a totally wicked baddy, that's why I made the red and blue one 'cos it looks sort of devilish. I've also been playing around with the female, at the moment she has fallen down and is trying to get up again, in fact I would swear she was slightly drunk. lol 8) But to get back to it, thank you all for your comments I'll keep working on him and I've been playing with displacement maps so maybe I can give him furry legs, we'll see. 8) Catlin

I played with the displacment maps as well, but it's hit or miss, because it seems to behave oddly based on the actual geometry. I actually have already made some prop leg fur, to enhance/replace the bigfoot morphs. I still have some cool ideas for a power pixie expansion as well... I'm sure I'll do that project soon. I'm releasing another (1 or 2) morphs sets very soon for some other toon like characters. Keep yer eyes peeled.. ;)

Oh I will definately be getting any new bits and bobs you do for this character Gareee, he's just so much fun to play with and the more bits for him the better. Cheers 8) Catlin

Yep, I had fun with him as well, and that's why I did the power pixie pak. I've got something else for more "fun" characters coiming out in the next week.. actually 2 different packs... all I can say is there's a STAMPEDE heading out soon!
