http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=646591&Start=1&Artist=jocko500&ByArtist=Yes this is where I posted my photo I useing Sony 4.0megapixels cybershot. I know i am to get the settings off the shots but i donot know how this was a gift and i do not have the book. I do know when I got back from New Orleans I noted the setting for the ligth was indoors and not sun plus on top of the camera it was on scn I do not know what that is but I do know it should be on the setting of a picture of a camera. if you look at the one i posted the two small photos i used to make the top photo. the car was in the shadows and so was my son on the bottom right the car was in the shadows but the sidewalk with the upper part of the man was in the sunligth. I did find a photo of the car with a truer color so I did change it as you can see as cynlee said plus change the ligthing on my son. I am useing Microsoft Digital Image Suite to do my work[real good on this program] I do have phopshop7 but just learning on it. thank you if you can help me make it so it would look like i took the photo with no post work.

i think you did a good job on the composite & adding the lighting... & hopefully you still have these in layers it was the coloring on your son that i thought needed to be warmer, like on his skin & hair ... someone here should be able to tell you how to adjust it & maybe tell you more about your camera :]

Someone who knows specifically about the Sony may have a better answer; the indoors/sun setting is likely the "white point," which compensates for the difference in the color of the lighting. The incorrect setting here was the reason for the blue color. I do not know what "scn" is. I think you did a very nice job putting this together. I LIKE the blue color, and the perspective adds a dramatic quality.

Jocko - Yup ... having it set to indoors is why you got the blue color cast. That setting setting sets your white balance. Go to the above link. It's a review of the Cybershot, but it has an operation section. Will explain all of the settings and stuff. GIve you an idea of how to setup your camera. -=>Donald
