Subject: Who made the MAT Pose Edit?

xeniaghost ( ) posted Wed, 14 April 2004 at 3:08 PM · edited Thu, 09 January 2025 at 1:28 PM

i posted a question earlier about creating Poser files and was adviced to use the MAT Pose Edit in freestuff to make Mat files but when i looked, 605 files came up! so does anyone know who created the MAT Pose Edit? and is it Mac compatible? Thanks again.

I think it was Scourge who made it. No idea if a mac version is available or not. You could try a search in Frrestuff/Utilities mac

I removed MPE from Freestuff a few months ago but I'll probably add it there again when I get v3.1.3 finished. Dave8's link is the correct one if you want to download MPE. Unfortunately the program is currently available for Windows only. Ilari Pihlajisto

MPE is an outstanding utility as well. It's well worth learning! BTW does anyone know of another utility other then P-wizard for squishing props?

Garee... In theory you can do it by hand (I guess you're referring to the obj ripper?) but... I prefer PWizard :-) It's soo easy.

Do you squish morphing props as well? Also can you tell it to squish all the props in a folder (like a batch?)

If you're still talking about obj ripper (as in having the obj as a separate file, away from the PP2, yes you can do it with morphing props. To a point. Becourse the morphs stays as deltas (or whatever they're called) IN the pp2, so it gets bigger for each morph. But you can still have an external "main" obj with all the benifit of that (easy to change mappping and makes the prop useable in programs like Vue and Bryce)
