Subject: Help with Blank Animations!

OK, I did a search here in the forum and read the FAQ but couldn't find an answer. I am running Poser 5 sr4.1, and I am trying to create a movie. I set it up, create an animation frameset and go to make movie. Poser seems to record an AVI for me, but when it finishes and I play it back, it is blank. No figure shows up. I have lights, etc. Any thoughts? I realize this has probably been asked before, but I could not find a thread. Thanks,

I've noticed some oddities in sr4. One time I got nothing but stripes in an AVI! More generally, be sure you're making the movie in uncompressed form..... Poser will often let you select a codec that isn't properly installed, with a blank result.

Make sure the screen depth is set to 24 or 32 bits. If you set it to 16 bit on Windows, it can happen that you get blank AVI files.
