...Sorry, but you are not going to, and you can't decently shut up the ones who make this site exist, and make a living: the artists here ! I, & we are all waiting for Adms.'s reply to my letter ...just below this one. It was called:"Renderosity's real number of "Active members" Thanks. Klaus.

I moved your last post to the community center, and I posted a notice here that I did so. That forum is the proper place for this subject. I'm not trying to hide it, simply that forum will get read by the staff beforethis one will. I'll also be moving this thread to that forum. Thanks Bruce "pushinfaders"

Klaus, you have had replies to every post on this subject (now 4) what exactly are you expecting? That members who have no gallery (like me..used to, but no more) be banned/kicked out? For what purpose? Why does it bother you so much? And when you say "we"...please do not assume it bothers everyone, and include them in your rants :|

Klaus...you are NOT going to get those numbers. I know, I have inquired about them before. :) Sorry, but the best bet is for you to make your own judgment on the number of active members and go from there. That is what we do. Rebekah

Dear _Klaus, Good question. I appreciate the enormous amount of time you must have spent on working these statistics. What it all means is that "active members" are those that visit the site regularly. They may be purchasing something from the MarketPlace, posting in forums, viewing Galleries, trying out Tutorials, or downloading FreeStuff, etc. We do not require "active members" to customize their Artist page, to make "Free Stuff" contributions, or to upload images to the Galleries. We make these resources available to our community members. But, members are free to choose which resources they wish to use and when. I trust this will help to answer your questions. Best regards, LillianH Renderosity Admin.

Bekkah you mean you can actually understand what klaus is on about? If so please by all means explain it cause I for one, and I am sure I can say the same for others too, damn sure have absolutely no friggin idea what the guy is trying to say, other than, that he has some sort of problem with why others come here.

BDC, The point he's trying to make, from what I can gather, is that Rosity is misrepresenting the member numbers, that there is some conspiracy going on to dupe people. Personally I think it's just the number that they've gotten from their database of members, and Rosity never promised that these people participate in all parts of the system. I doubt Rosity knows the actual number of members that do things on the system, so the membership database total is probably the only truly reliable number they have because it's "written in stone". Actually I believe this -Klaus fellow is from the IRS.....questioning why Renderosity is claiming 197,695 dependents. Personality sure fits!

Sorry Klaus but you must have too much free time on your hands. This appears to be an issue that only matters to you, yet you demand answers as if somehow you have some monetary or proprietary investment in Renderosity. I see that you joined May 30 2002, you have 2 pictures on your gallery page, both entered this month. So you have an artists page, that's not a huge deal. No one really looks at them anyway until someone like you posts something like this, or to track down more information on an artist/vendor. Otherwise the average person doesn't go perusing the member list to see who has a gallery and who has or doesn't have an artist page or free stuff. I've been a member since Nov 2002. I didn't post any art until August 2003. I have a homepage, but it mainly serves my own purposes for tracking my favorites, artist, gallery work, products...Yes I know my wishlist needs to be updated and is out of control, but Renderosity doesn't make that an easy task. While I'm at that why don't we have the option to delete or move multiple wishlist products? Okay back on subject. There are many Gallery users that just post art. They don't have an artist page, provide goods or freebies? Again I fail to see your point in any of this and why it took you 4 threads and you still haven't made any response as to why this issue is of any importance to you and your prospective "we". I don't say much around here, but I just couldn't pass this up. If I had your free time, I'd be a full time artist making full time artist's money. That could be you as you seem to have "the time" to pursue your art work, much more than I. Please don't take this as anything more than constructive, objective criticism. Everyone has a right to voice an opinion, but it's nice to give good reasons for your beliefs or thoughts, so others can understand empathize, sympathize or just not care at all. But at least they'd know what you were trying to say and why. It can also be done in one post with reflective, thoughtful and hopefully enlightening interaction with those who post replies to your questions. Just my "J" cents... ~Jaesha~

BDC: I don't understand Klaus very often or very much. I did gather that he wanted the R'osity active member numbers. I am not sure why though. And I think that his idea of Active may be slightly different than mine. Sixus1 is a merchant here, so I wanted the numbers for some obvious reasons..... Other than that....you got me. :) Rebekah
