Subject: Easy anime look using poser and Photoshop

ok, so here is a mini tutorial on how to get a fast, easy, decent looking anime picture with very little work. first render up your scene. here is an example one base.jpg and then in photoshop, after you have opened your scene,go to Filter>Artistic>Poster edges now to get the following picture below i used these settings Edge Thickness = 0 Edge intensity = 0 Posterization = 1 and then i added a gaussian blur of 1.0 pixels but you soul play around with it so see what results are best for your picture and i then ended up with the image below result.jpg let me know what you think, of both my mini tutorial and the end result

Hi, KJAM. I tried a quick and dirty experiment using your photoshop trick. Then I experimented a bit with it. It's not anime, but it looks kinda cool. I didn't like the dark edges of the posterize filter, or the jagged edges it produced, so I softened up the image some, and then used "lighten" to overlay the poserized image. Just thought I would share. =) bB
