Actually, I amazingly found the solution, but I'm keeping this up just in case anyone else has this problem, and does a search in the forum. If you're running it in XP, but instead have it set to "run as 98", change it to run as XP, it works! YEAHO! (note, I highly doubt this is just a way for unregistered people to use their illegal copies, but just for people with working serial numbers that work, but they don't. Never mind)
I had this problem with win2k, bryce would open ok when double-clicking a bryce file to open, but opening it direct had the serial number thing. It started after installing sp3 for win2k, tried re-installing,re-patching etc etc. It went away when I did complete re-install of win2k, patched it to sp4 and then installed bryce

I have had a similar prob, my bryce version just didn't want to accept the serial number that I got :| I bought it legally, but it didn't work. Corel support gave me another serial number and that did work.

Ive never had this problem, but i got my copy from a merchant at Rilax 5. His eleventh eye looked a little strange though, so its probably an illegal copy.

The answer to everything is that there is no answer, there's no truth, only illusion. 42 is the illusion of everything. Therefore it will take the shape of every answer to any question at any given point in time making it look like the right answer. So actually the sphere has 42 sides, but when counting them 42 will give you the illusion it's 32.

Umm, all of a sudden bryce is being all screwy, saying, well, "An Invalid Serial Number as been encountered. Please Reenter your information" Umm..... I don't get it. Is this some crazy virus? Am i going to die? What's the meaning of life. Actually, what I was wondering, why is it doing this? It's the same serial number it's always been. Has this happened to anyone else??? This kinda sucks.
