At long last, Installment 5 of Hat Check Kelly has finally arrived at our new home: www.hatcheckkelly.com. This installment marks our twenty page milestone. I hope all of you will take the time to drop in and read it. Comments, suggestions, rants and raves are, as always, most welcome. We even got some free stuff for the community listed at the bottom of this rant But I need to get something off my chest first. As you are all aware of by now, HCK:FLA, aside from being a wicked great story, is also a showcase for all the free (and pay) stuff that our fabulous community makes available. I try as hard as anyone to keep track of who did what and to give credit. But I have been lax, . Every major figure in HCK:FLA is individually posed but the fact is I'm not against saving some time. I sometimes use other people's poses as a starting point. Up to until now, I haven't been giving those people credit and, frankly it's been nagging at me. So, starting with this installment, my credits page will contain a new field, "Gesture Development" so that pose donors also get the credit they are due. (Besides, when Hollywood comes a'knocking with a big bag'o'money wanting to buy the rights to Kelly, you all want to be part of the thrash/flame war that will ensue as we try to straighten out all the copyrights, don't'cha?) The innagural group in the Gesture Development catagory in no particular order are: PhilC, SnowSultan, Crescent, Schlabber, Christne Zychla, Jean, Qiqo ("Pixel Master"), Krel, Anase. Ladies and Gentlemen, give'em all a round of applause. (If anyone has heard from Cresent, SnowSultan or Jean, let them know for me) Now about that free stuff. To help celebrate hitting Pg20, Schlabber has been kind enough to offer to host the first collection of HCK poses. Taken directly from the pages of the story, now you too can scowl, vogue and jitterbug just like Kelly and all her friends. Schlabber will be announcing availability so keep reading the forums.
