Subject: Need Poser 5 manual

I just got Poser 5 and need the instruction manuals. The PDF files that came with the software are locked, and cant be printed out. Do anyone have an unlocked version of the manual. There are two manuals, if anyone have either the files or the file locations, please help me out. By the way, P5 is awsome, fell in love instantly... Highly recomended to any 3d fans.

The files are the exact same as the book. I just got a copy of Poser 5 for mother's day (thanks kids!) and so far, the book and online files are exactly the same........USELESS. I suggest buying a book if you can find a decent one. Kristta

Here's an excellent site to download the manuals, in PDF format. If you have trouble finding them, just fill out the Contact Us form.

Curious Labs provided two versions of the PDF manual. Just click the link and look in the downloads section.

Poser 5 Manual-High Resolution
This manual is optimized for printing but takes longer to download (16MB).

Poser 5 Manual-Low Resolution
This manual is optimized for fast download time. Printing is disabled for
this low-res version. Personally I'd rather read the PDF than print it. There are just too many errors to be worth the paper to print on.

Neither the manual nor the PDF version are all that good. As manuals go it isn't outright bad, but the program help function accesses the PDF, and it's near useless as a helpfile. A good third-party guide would be a better bet.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any good "general purpose" Poser books. Some people, however, have created good tutorials. If you hunt around, you can probably learn just about anything.
