Subject: animating water

can anyone tell me how to animate water? I can get the clouds to move but not the water for some reason. Thx

This is usually done by animating terrains With the same water material as the water plane. ,by modifying the terrain the the terrain editor,advancing the animation time then modifying it again,so on and so fourth. hope these links help
