I'm wrong or now Judy doesnt take Vicky textures? I get the artifacts in the above image with Vicky textures (they're alle free textures, I didn't try with the DAZ ones). Its a change after SR4?

Are you using firefly when rendering? If so, are you using texture filtering? This has been known to cause some render artifacts in figure textures.

Tools :  3dsmax 2015, Daz Studio 4.6, PoserPro 2012, Blender v2.74

System: Pentium QuadCore i7, under Win 8, GeForce GTX 780 / 2GB GPU.

I've heard someone complain about this after SR4. Haven't encountered it myself though.

The textures are not 100% compatible ... you'll also notice that the nostrils don't quite line up correctly either. However, because the templates for the two are very close, the majority of the incompatibilities can be fixed quite easily in an image editing program.

Yes, it's rendered in Firefly without texture filtering.

As deecey said the textures are not 100% compatible, I noticed that before I installed sr4, so it isn`t an sr4 problem.

Maybee a fix would be to move Judy's tamplate limits a bit to be "in" Victorias tamplate with UV mapper... I've thought to do this many times but always leave it for another time... pitklad

Don doesn't quite take Mike's texture's either. I've got a head (hi, Deecey!) that I've tried a half dozen textures with and the only one which fits decently is the Nordic one. I have mostly free textures, so maybe that is part of the problem. The jawline seems to be slightly off, which is most noticeable with stubble. Has anybody made decent textures especially for the P5 crew? Carolly

I've been working on one for Don, but ... this is moving week and EVERYTHING is up in the air.

Spectre3 has made a Don texture, and Quim Abella has made Antonio too for Don. There are some for Judy too, but I haven't considered any of those, as I haven't had any problems with the textures for V2 not fitting her :o) Perhaps I need better glasses G

Deecey, Don't panic... as long as you have that box with the necessities set aside, all will go well. And if it doesn't, at least you can have clean hands and a cup of coffee! Hmm... if you have a massage tool for getting between the shoulderblades, throw that in there, too. UPS workers are used to picking up and carrying all day, we aren't. I have a couple other heads which are coming along, but I tend to shift the ears to balance the features. With the women, it doesn't matter so much... hair covers most of them except where the tips might stick through. With the men, I figured that I'd better test them with a skin and typical short hair. Ernyoka, Thanks for the leads... I'll check them out. :) Carolly
