(sorry for the cross post, mods) Weirdass.net has finally returned to a full boil. After the success of our long running "The Starry Ones" storyline, creative team of writer Ancram Hudson and artist Mitch Waxman took a short break to rest up and plan their next opus(s). Hudson & Waxman returned from their holiday with "the Story of Phil", which Mitch drew (with ink!) instead of using his usual compliment of 3d software. This weirdass comic is actually becoming a bit of a fan favorite. Read "The Story of Phil" here- http://www.weirdass.net/pages/2003/phil/stphil001.html Right on Phil's heels came the 3 Mekka, a short story which will lead into the next major story arc at Weirdass.net - The Electric Empire. We're not saying anything else about "EE" for now, but... Trust in Weirdass. Read "The 3 Mekka" here- http://www.weirdass.net/pages/2003/dbot1_001.html Currently running is "By The Numbers". The story of how Starry Ones villain Hampton Jitney, oligarch of mankind and dark wizard of wall street, works fiendish revenge upon the Hooded Man- Claverack Hillsdale. During the apocalyptic events detailed in "The Starry Ones", Hillsdale denied Jitney ownership of the black book Necronomicon. Hillsdale's actions cost Hampton Jitney his patron gods- the Old Ones, and denied him his greatest dream. Hampton Jitney is not a man to be trifled with. Read a summing up of "the story so far" here- http://www.weirdass.net/pages/2003/bynum/bynum19.html Start at the beginning of "By The Numbers" here- http://www.weirdass.net/pages/2003/bynum/bynum19.html Jitney has marshalled the formidable global resources of his investment bank- Nomus Patri, and its shadowy cabal of managers- called the Numbers, toward a single goal- the humiliation and emasculation of a gadfly wizard called Hillsdale. The Starry Ones ran for 173 consecutive weeks.
