BTW, have you ever actually seen a pic with a block and tackle being used like that? I doubt very much if a coach roof was strong enough to hang the entire charrage from, they were pulled by horses, after all, and they couldn't be built like a battleship. ;-) I suspect they would have used a screw jack under the axle, just like you would do on a auto.

Maybe you could message him and find out where he hosts his stuff now? I couldn't find it there anymore, either. Pulleys would be handy in any sort of shop... but I think Jim is right about not lifting a carriage from the top. That isn't where it is strongest. I just looked over at Baument. He has an "industrial belt" in the archives... which might be suitable. I thought it was worth a search because he does so much of this mechanical stuff. You might be able to use the bolts and hinges and handles and such lying around as scene filler, too. His Meshes7 CD also has a block and tackle under factory floor.
