yep. The CR2 file is pretty much the rig itself. As long as there are the proper number of correlations (meaning, it's pretty much cut the same way), any object referenced will work with a Cr2. As you noted, there are some issues with copyright - some cr2 files are copyright and distro is forbidden. The most common reason for this is morphs -- which you wouldn't want to have int e cr2 anyway unless it exactly matchd, vertice for vertice, the original. most of the rigged figures out there use "borrowed" rigs.
thou and I, my friend, can, in the most flunkey world, make, each of us, one non-flunkey, one hero, if we like: that will be two heroes to begin with. (Carlyle)

I am a lazy bastard and realize while searching boning and rigging has been asked a lot in this forum. Although some of these post answered some questions I still had others. Being lazy I was wondering is there a way of using an already boned figure bones on a new figure. I am curious to know. I realize this may impact on some copywright issues but this new figure want be shared or distributed, it's just for a fun.
