Another one, more Tiger like... ps: Is this what u want to become? What kind of skin u need actually?

Yes, well I think I'd like more simple a photographic, and human a texture. I should just take a photo of the inside of my shaved arm, but I really like a lightset for this, so am hoping to just find a nice Close-Up photo someone has on file Digitally.

I completely understand what is entailed by making such a "Tile," but am still hoping it has been done somehow. Thanks! = )

yeah. this is my skin, and as such is only allowed to be used NON comercially. hope it suits your needs.

karosnikov ( ) posted Fri, 11 June 2004 at 8:28 AM

it does tile, but any tile does get repeditive. hope it's subtle enough.

Divian_Solid ( ) posted Fri, 11 June 2004 at 11:06 AM

Karsnikov, I must say, It's nice... about the repetitive thing, i wouldn't say it's disturbing... It's all about what it's ment for...

Very nicely done, now all we have to do is shave all the hair off with photoshop! LOL, it looks very nice. Thanks!

karosnikov ( ) posted Sun, 13 June 2004 at 5:10 AM

eh no worries. i'm sore you an paint ( based on existing ) more definition in the pores if needed. just rember to Filter > other > Offset ( 200 , 200, "wrap Around" ) and ensure it will still tile.

Divian_Solid ( ) posted Sun, 13 June 2004 at 1:39 PM

Actually, why do u need that offfset thing for? And how du u make those textures tile perfectly?

karosnikov ( ) posted Wed, 16 June 2004 at 8:58 PM

the off set gives you an idea what your textre looks like when the eges meet, when one tile meets the next one, * saves you the time of make'n a PS file four times the size and putting 4 full size images next to eachother to see if there are Hard eges, one way to get the perfect tile you basicly offsett, clone, heal, or paint over the hard edges. offsett again, clone, heal, or paint .. and save.

Thx Karasnikov, will consider and experiment with it!! :-)
