a) How do you think the blurring in this photo contribute to what you were trying to show?
The distortion of the glass made the figures recognizable to a degree yet keeps them from really being noticed.
b) How did you implement and control the blurring?
Didn't have to work it. Glassmakers took care of that.
c) Did you plan the blurring from the camera (even if you may have actually implemented the effect in postwork)?
Yes. As soon as I saw this I had to have it.
d) Do you think you've achieved what you were trying to do? What would you do better?
To some degree yes. I would have liked to have shown more of the guests oblivious to what was happening behind them.
