can anybody tell me where to find a good tutorial on making abstracts thanks in advance pickles

How to become an abstract painter 1 Move to France. 2 Drink Absenthe, take cocane, smoke pot or some sort of mind altering drug. 3 Start painting and selling on the street 4 Go insane and die 5 wait 20 years after your death when you will suddenly be discovered and your paintings will sell for more than you ever made in your entire life. Seriously, there are many kinds of abstract schools of art. The link goes to a good site that explains them. Figure out what kind of style you want to try. Then you can have a better chance of trying to duplicate it.
