I want one of the hellpuppies from Crematoria. They were adorable. Give me about an hour on the goggles. You want a morph to pull them up onto Mike's forehead, also?

Yes Please thank you LD!! I loved the movie :-) and you could like use the "hell hound" from DAZ with displacement mapping in poser5 for the cool "Lava Dogs"

Here are some nice reference pics at a site where you can buy a replica for about $59.

There are also some goggles in one of the props packs on RDNA, I downloaded it yesterday. They're together with some hats and (pith)helmets

the "dog" things look like DAZ's Gargoyle Hound with scales kinda like a pangolin (closest thing i could find)
Wolf: looks good. but his eyes dont light up his face :) just a cloudy glow.
Little dragon: looking good, when he has them over his eyes, they fit really snug (closer than you have them).

I tweaked them some more, but that's about as snug as I'm going to make them.
Packaging the goggles now. It might interest you to know that I've built them as a conforming, posable figure. In other words, you don't need morphs to pull them up onto Riddick's forehead ... simply use the Bend dial. It's UV-mapped, and I'm including a texture. I'd recommend some sort of scene-appropriate reflection map for the lenses.
Thanks for the offer to host, but I think the .zip will be small enough to post over at PoserPros. If the .zip exceeds 512KB, however, I might take you up on your offer.
I'd normally upload them here to Free Stuff, also, but the PTB haven't repaired my File Locker yet.
Little_Dragon posted Sat, 12 June 2004 at 10:34 PM
All right, they're available now.

I should add that due to the mesh optimizations, they look particularly nice in Poser's cartoon-with-lines display mode.
Anyone planning to see Dark Fury, the animated Riddick prequel due out on June 15th?

Thank you Little Dragon. At PP you said there were two films, I didn't know that. Is the second one Chronicles of Riddick, or were you referring to something else? Anyways I've got to see the other film 'cos I just love PItch Black. 8) Catlin

Yes, the second one is Chronicles of Riddick, which debuted in theaters last week. They're planning to do a trilogy, although I don't know if Pitch Black will count as part one of the three.
And as wolf359 pointed out, the animated prequel, Dark Fury, will be released on DVD later this week.
Also, there's an video game prequel called Escape from Butcher Bay, available only for X-Box.

d-larsen, More morphs for Don are coming! The morph for between the eyebrows is on my list for Deecey, but even without it, I'm getting a nice range of faces. Some pics here.... Carollycatlin_mc posted Mon, 14 June 2004 at 4:59 PM
