Subject: Snap to objects

Is there a way to snap one object to another when moving? Say I have 2 boxes and I want one corner to touch the corner of the other. Thanks.

Props may be parented to each other. Double click on the one you wish to act as a "child". Select parent prop. Scroll through the list to the correct prop & double click on that. Click Ok. And you're done. When you move the "parent", the "child" will move as well.

No its not 3ds where everything snaps together like Legos. It would be nice but its not really a modeling program.

That's what I thought...Could there be any tricks to achieve the same thing or I just have to eyeball it?

ok i dont know if this could help you but, if you make a click on the work space and drag the mouse so you select the objects you want to be together. The objects get grouped so you can move them like one prop; but if you make a click on one of the props then the group is broken. (sorry for my english, no my native language) -Vlad
