Last night I tried to enter the appropirote credit card info to download the downloadable version of poser5. Sadly it was declined. Now this morning I woken up by a frantic mother wondering why I bought 5 copies of Poser last night. I cannot find any phone numbers in order to talk to a human and god only knows when they'll get to reading their email. I have $1,000 of my mother's money in limbo right now and it would be reallly nice if I could get it back any help I could get would be nice. E V S

Contact the bank immediately. Explain precisely what happened. They will most certainly remove four of the charges without question. THey may remove all of them (you'll have to talk to her and see). In the meantime, contact Curious Labs by ANY means necessary and tell them clearly what happened and that you never got a download at all and you'd like the charges removed. Then, well, go from there and see how the situation looks. bonni

EVS go to www.curiouslabs.com choose the support tab at the top of the page and then Email Customer Service option. I can tell you the two times I've had to email them (this was within the last few weeks) I got an answer back same day. I hope this helps and good luck!!! Jessie. :)

Ok I am lowering the alert level to green. I got a hold of a guy via their U.S. Customer service phone number (I am Canadian, heh heh heh). He assured me that they are set up so that the charges do not go through until the completion of the download and that what was seen on the crditcard report was more than likely the attempts at the bank trying to complete the transaction (proably an exchange rate thing). Thanks for the prompt support.

I've had cases where submitting my information for a purchase on an online form, the system seemed to "hang" or freeze up before completion. So being the dumb ass that I am, I kept pressing the submit button, only to find out later that the form processed my order multiple times, charging my card for as many times as I pressed the button. LOL. Got the charges reversed after all, but still. It certainly put a scare into me for a minute there. ;-)

I have emailed Curious Labs through the Support Page, Email Customer Service 5 times in 6 months and they responded back within an hour in each case. I have never had a problem with their support staff personally.

Wow, are you guys young? Parents freaking? I'm the parent and it's my money so I get to spend as I wish. He He He. I've got a 13 year old that is attempting to work with Poser and an 11 year old who couldn't care less. Maybe one of these wonderful kiddies will love art as much as I do. Kristta PS They aren't getting my card number though!

I wasn't going to comment about the fact that it was his "mother's credit card" but "he" was screaming that "he" was being ripped off. He obviously couldn't contact the card company because it isn't his card! And I wonder if mom really knew before hand she was buying him Poser 5? He-He-He! My stepson tried that once I think!

We don't have any real credit cards in our house. My husband and I both have one of those Visa ATM cards. They can be used by any place that takes Visa and the money comes straight out of your checking account. The kids are really good about asking. Now, I had a 15 year old sister in law (previous marriage) that thought it would be fun to order concert tickets using my credit card. Would have saved myself a lot of trouble if I'd only figured out that apples don't fall far from the family tree in that case! Both Skidlicious and Kamion commented on Mom's credit card. Interesting. Feeling like and "old geezer" here. Kristta

Yeh, I know the feeling! Before my divorce, my then 15 year-old step daughter used to tell her friends that I was pretty cool for an old guy! At 43, I had to learn to accept that as a compliment.

I think Curious Labs will accept orders mailed in with money orders - at least they did. (I hate using credit cards online.)
