Errm - actually, it's NOT a point-blank answer. It's a politician's answer. "DAZ has no plans of merging the programs" does NOT mean "DAZ will never merge the programs". It just means that the options are left open. It's probably correct. It's probably what will happen. But it's not categoric. Cheers, Diolma
I would not call that a politicians answer, a politician would probably lie outright ;) it is a businessmans answer and is as point blank as is really legally possible. I have worked with Daz for a while, and if they say they have no plans to do something that is what they mean, pure and simple. point blank doesnt mean catagoric, it means an honest upfront answer.
Than you Will! AgentSmith

I know many of you are concerned that Daz only baught Bryce to cobble together a combined program. so it was put directly to DAZ management: Question: Will DAZ|Studio and Bryce eventually be merged into one program or will they remain separate? Answer: DAZ has no plans of merging the programs. Our mission is to offer seamless COMPATIBILITY between the two programs. Point blank question, Point blank answer, I hope that helps alleviate some peoples fears. there are a few more answers at the above link Thanks Will DuprDaz Forum Team.
