Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 24 8:11 pm)
I think the learning curve would be better in P4 and it depends on how she intends to use it. I only use P4, never got P5 and I don't ever plan to get it. I've heard in the past, and am still hearing gripes about the complexity of Poser 5, not to mention the complaints that still keep popping up in the forum here about glitches. It might be wise to find an inexpensive copy of P4 (I've also heard that Amazon has a good price) and let her move up to P6, when and if that ever materializes. Melanie
There will be a poser 6, the complexity of poser 5 is one of the best things about it as well as a problem for learning it.
The setup room is one of the best things about propack and poser 5 ( if you want to make figures ) and that is why I mentioned it.
If poser 6 is out next year I hope that it is near the end of the year so that it is not rushed as poser 5 was.

Hi all, have a friend who wants to get into Poser. I thought about the back issue of Computer arts (I think it was) that had Poser3 free, but on their site that issue is not available. Anyone know where she can get Poser 4 maybe at a good price, or the best price on 5? Thx, Scott
