Does anyone know why the Koshini Mertail Easy Pose dials don't work on any of its tail segments?

Well, since mine do, I'm sorta confuzzled..

What version of Poser are you in? Easy Pose dials can be affected by crosstalk.

Poser4. But even when the tail is the only thing in the scene, the only dials that work are the hip ones.

Oh!!! smacks head with desk ok, hon -- um, that's actually the way it's supposed to work -- that's the magic of easy pose. Those other dials are ONLY controlled from the hip location.

On otther Easy Pose figures,the EP dials work on segments after the node. Sorry 'bout your head.

That's an option for you when you create the figure -- in this case, the designer (the wonderful Maveris) chose to locate all the controls in the hip part for ease of use. Btw -- there is also a snake tail for koshini available.
