I didn't actually take this photo with the challenge in mind, but I figured the topic is quite applicable. The soft focus was achieved through a combination of atmospheric effects (extreme humidity fogging the lens slightly) lens filter and photoshop postwork. I thought that the focus style really captured the atmosphere and mode fairly well. It's rare that I get to spend time this close to primates so I had brought along both my digital and traditional SLR along to make sure I got everything I could. This particular one was taken with a Sony Digital 5mp DSC-F707 with minor focus adjustments made in photoshop.
