To improve response time and create a more dynamic list, the Hot 100 sampling period has been reduced to 2 days. This will affect the Halloween Contest so folks should time their posts to reach peak viewing at the time of selection. I know this process may not be optimal, but it is what we have to work with at the moment. One could view it as an exercise in creating popular art.
