Never ever waste your film on something so trivial!.... Lesson learned Doug?..... I thought so!.... Don't ya just hate that when that happens? On my digital if I didn't have any room (and that hasn't happened yet 450 shots and the card is still not full!) I would delete one or two to get that shot! I would not have wasted my film til the next day, when I went to take my film in! I have even been known to do that last shot in the shop where I get my developing done! giggles or outside the door on the flowers in the planter! ;) Brenda :)
........thanks Brenda!...moral of the story: -- waste that last shot on a planter outside the photo lab....OR.........Go DIGITAL!!!!........well I'm opting for the latter - but just waiting for ..ahh...those camera makers to come out with a better - less expensive product!... my dad always said he was waiting for them to perfect colour TV before he'd buy one .....but he waited and waited and waited.......( I can't recall if he ever bought one )..... so maybe it's a genetic thing. ....but in the meantime I shall ignore being tempted on that last shot -- yessir --I've learned my lessson.

....well how many times has this happened to you?......you're out on photo safari - on your last roll -- you have one shot left ..... you're ready to head home and have a desire to finish the roll... something mildly presents itself and you snap off the last frame -- the camera whirs as it rewinds and you trudge around the bend weary but happy.......and SUDDENLY!!- THERE in front of you ( and I must explain that this did happen to me )......there in front of ME are five or so people standing in awe, mouths agape, at one of the grandest -- most brilliant sunsets I've ever seen!!!....a ridge of Saguaros silhouetted perfectly ( as if posing for a painting )..........and ...uhhh....no film.....miles from the nearest store.....trying to figure out how to invent film on the spot......but it was hopeless........ahhh - but I did shift gears and ENJOY the view.........but , ...you know --- it wasn't fair! ... ( cue violins! )
