Subject: Terrain editor question

Hey, I'm a fairly new user of Vue and have a quick question regarding the terrain editor and terrain in general. When I try and make a landform of sorts, be it a rocky such as the moon or a mountain, it doesn't seem to look that good. There always seems to be these black dots of sorts in the land, and only go away if I really have smoothed out landform. I was was wondering if you have any advice, or any sites or whatnot, that can help me make better mountains, hills, etc...or a tutorial or sites dealing with the terrain editor and textures. Thanks

It sounds like you have to increase the resolution of your terrain. Click the x2 button at the top. The default starts low. Go for about 1024 for more detail. More tutes and resources are in the backroom.

You can increase the terrtain resolution? I'll be damned...that just might do it, thanks. edit: Yup that did it, man I feel like a schmuck for not knowing that. Thanks again.
