Subject: M3 eye problem

whmitch ( ) posted Thu, 15 July 2004 at 9:19 AM ยท edited Fri, 27 December 2024 at 4:23 PM

I'm having a problem with the eyes on my M3 model, namely, the eyes remain the standard blue when rendered even when I change them to other colors (using the standard mats). Although the eyes have the correct color in the regular window (brown for example), when I do a render (either draft or production), the eyes are still the original color (blue).

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
William

Not using M3 myself but i use V3 and to change eye colours you have to have a new texture for them, I,ve made some for Vicky by using the 'Eye builder' by Bobbie 25

I'm using the M3 eye textures that came either with the original or, more likely, the M3 texture pack.

For P4... in the rendering window: The Surface Material window... make sure the Object color is white and that Iris and other eye parts are selected under Materials... and that in the Texture box the texture you want is selected.
Don't know about P5.
