Im about to attempt to construct a custome hair texture for the Princess hair by NeilP. Problem is this: I havent got a clue how to do this. Im assuming I can simply locate the texture and photoshop it. Is there anything I should know or aviod?

I might be wrong, but I don't think it is possible to apply a texture to these hair as they are for P5 only and are from the hair room. I would like to be wrong though. ;o) France

It's P5 dynamic hair. You cannot texture it using a JPG. If you want to change the color, go to RDNA and download their free Hair MATs. Change hair color with a click. If you want to make it look wavy or something, you'll have to venture into the Hair Room.

It took me a while to figure this one out. Yes you can texture P5 hair but as randymm77 says, not with a JPG. Load the princess hair and go to the material room and checkout how the hair has being textured using the diffuse node. You will notice there are two colours on the node for each hair group. Experiment changing these colours and when your happy save the file as a hair prop (.HR2). Open the HR2 file in wordpad and remove all the geometry sections leaving just the material sections and then save this file as a MAT pose file. eg."MyTexture.pz2" Quite long winded, I know but it worked on the Supermodel hair which is in my store. Good luck and drop me a line if you get stuck.
