No not a rant about too many naked Vickys in the Poser gallery. It's the genres in the galleries I was wondering about. There doesn't seem to be a nude genre which seems a little odd. The nude genre is probably one of the oldest ones in art but there doesn't seem to be a place for one here at this very large art site.

Perhaps he means non cheesecake nudes. Artistic nudes, as opposed to tittilating ones.

There's no definite line. Many of the so-called "classical" nude paintings were obviously intended to titillate. And have you ever seen Courbet's `Origin of the World'? m.

pearce is right, which is why it's really unfair to classify all nudes under "pin-up", plus there are plenty of pin-ups that are not nude.

I have asked {as others have} to have a place set up just for nudes, that requires different access to enter it..to me, that would seem to cut out alot of problems concerning nudity..and not just the titilating ones...

Hi sorry went away for a few days. No I wasn't joking I just it would be simpler to have a nude genre so what ever the technique or program used all nudes would be in one place. This would serve as a place for all kinds of nudes wether they be artistic nude, tittilating nude, pinups or cheese cake nudes (whatever they are) and, also, open up an area for artistic nude studies specifically. This does seem to be very much a neglected area at Renderosity. Ane yes it would cut out alot of problems concerning nudity as it would be all in one easily defined area and, therefore, a lot easier to avoid should you so choose.
