Just go to File>Export and choose the 3DS format. It'll give you a box asking you what to export, uncheck "Universe" and just select the figure and body to export. If you want to export/import as a .obj, you do need a plug-in for Max... I think it's by Habware. But 3DS should work straight "out of the box". Hope that helps :)

I would like to use P5 to pose a figure then export it - nothing more (sure I know there is more that can be done) then import it to .3ds Max (or actually VIZ) and texture it there. I dont want any lighting or scene stuff into VIZ, just the bare figure with any texture mapping info that accompanies it. Maybe I am clear enuf? Can it be done - with - or without - a plugin for VIZ 2005 (Max) ? Many thanks, Mayav
