Subject: trying something different but cocked up..!!!

Ok guys...can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong here here...Image here is my home town...Six images stitched but kinda all exposed different ??....Maybe I shoulds waited till late afternoon/early evening? Cam is Dimage A1.

Auto exposure? Perhaps use manual. Measure the whole scene to find a good compromise. Then use same exposure everywhere?

i've tried this myself but had the same problem... ended up postworking it out then set it to the side :p just luv these pans though... you live in such a pretty place! :]

Ah...the exif data said the metering mode was on Spot...bugger, I forgot to change it. I guess that has something to with the diff exposures...?

When creating panorama's always use manual settings. I usually scan through the viewfinder seeing what the measurements are and from that I choose the settings I need for manual. Automatic settings are going to mess up your panorama 99% of the time. If it's possible, even set your focus to manual.

Hi Jim, very wise words from everybody above !! I would for their lead :o) Being an amateur, i just half-press the button pointed at the same spot before each shot LOL ...it seems to work though... :o)

Yes, thanks Misha883 and 3DGuy...figures now...will try it again and hope for improvement....and yes Cynlee, just a small town I guess taken for granted for its charm :) again, ta guyz jimbO
