i too would have loved something like this especialy for characters and texture sets created for use with the P5 meteral room only that have been saved the the meteral directory instead of the pose files. you have to select each meteral area and click the meteral then mose onto the next section and do the same and do that for every materal zone on the object/character. if there was a way to fix it so that it did all the poses to all the material zones it would make it so much less taxing on time and pationts. CL didnt put much thought into that aspect of the materal room they need to not only make it advanced and versitale they need to make it smooth and quick to use expecialy in times like these where most people (in america anyway) want things right away and right now we people in the age of technology are looseing out pationts lol reluctintly ranting Grace37 :)
I have written a python app that iterates thru the materials in the material room and outputs to a pz2 file, which can then be applied back to your figures, which kind of achieves the outcome you are looking for. The most recent couple of images in my gallery show the output (but not the python script :-)

Well in theory you could, although my script is very specific to what I need - would probably be better to start from scratch. I think that ockham's NewLightPanel uses a similar technique although with lights intead of mats (although I haven't actaully checked out his code yet).

Saw an intersting idea here at

and was wondering if someone could make a python script that will do the following:
I don't know python so I don't know if this is possible or not, but the settings yield a good result so I'm hoping there's a way to automate things.
Many thanks to anyone who takes a look at this.
