it's happened again, I try to move certain (transparency) layers and it only moves opaque ones :(

it's in the "options" bar, select the move tool and tick / un-tick "auto select layer" I must need lunch...

yeah, that's one of the issues with "auto-select". if there is not enough pixels dense enough, it won't get selected... i often use the transform tool (ctrl+T) to move my "more-transparent" layers... never have found another work-around :) scott

I actually hate the 'auto select layer' thingie. But that is probably because of my over-use of layers (hey, they're free you know), so I seldom select the right one. Ever.

you can also select without un-ticking auto select layer option from option bar. select respective layer from layer box & hold control key while draging it.. :~) Njoy....
