Subject: Peace pipe prop?

Moonbow ( ) posted Wed, 01 September 2004 at 3:54 PM · edited Fri, 25 October 2024 at 12:38 AM

Does anyone know where I might find a simple peace pipe prop please? I took a class in Cinema4d hoping to learn enough to make one, but I must have a serious learning curve in that program LOL! Thanks in advance for any help:) Moonbow

I made this axe/pipe in Wings3d. Its not UVmapped. If you want you can have it. I can remove the feather and leather strap if you want too.

Nice job! Will this be made available? I'd like one, too.

I don't have a web page anymore. I use to put stuff in freestuff but I can't afford to pay for a web site any more. If you want it though IM me with your email and I'll email it to you.

Not to steal thunder away from Cybermonk (that's an awesome axe/pipe, good job!), but I found another pipe. Zippo's site. Follow the link where it says "And you can get old items at 'Downloads' page", then under props, personal. It's called kiseru.zip, looks very much like it can be made into a peace pipe very easily (just change the texture). After looking at Cybermonk's model I'm not sure which would be best, I really like the pipe/axe combo...it might really lend to the image. If you need hosting you can drop us a line at webmaster(at)planit3d.com and I'm sure something could be arranged. Laver2K is also doing some free hosting should that fail.

Oh crap...what a bonehead mistake, I'm sorry. I highlighted the link and copied it to paste and then just hit the "post reply" button here instead. Here's the link. :)

Cooler made one too, also of the combined tomahawk/pipe type. It's over at 3DCommune.com. Search for Cooler, lots of other Native American stuff too.
