Do you have Vue 4 or Vue Pro ?
This looks like the effect of the anti-piracy mechanism used by Vue Pro. If Vue Pro detect a bad serial number, it forces the application to crash after just a few minutes.
Since I suppose you have a legitimate version of the sorftware, I really encourage you to contact e-on software support and give them as much details as possible about your situation.
It would be great to finally get a proof if this copy protection system fails on legitimate systems.

If you have OpenGL on, try disabling it in your options (in the file menu)...OpenGL (as implemented in Vue) doesn't always play well with various and sundry graphics cards and drivers.
