Subject: Desperately seeking Dynamic clothing for Poser

Hi all, I've been away for some time now from this site and Poser but now I'm looking to get back into it again now that I've got a low stress dayjob. I'm curious as to whether there have been any recent breakthroughs in animating for Poser. I just went over to the animation forum and I see its as lively as ever. Anyway if anyone knows of links to get some dynamic clothes I'd appreciate it.

PhilC does some nice stuff with Dynamic clothes. Nerd does too, but I don't remember his URL exactly. (Nerd3d.com or something similar, isn't it?)

Svdl makes some good stuff. See attached link.

Yep, PhilC's stuff is fantastic, so is Svdl's. Be sure to check out Nerd's stuff in the Marketplace here, too. It's also really nice. I love his "Princess Wrap," nothing else quite like it out there. Simple concept, but it makes for some really elegant, classical draping imagery. Plus you get some good procedural textures with it that can be used on anything. There are also a couple of dynamic cloth freebies at Nerd's website.

ocliff has made some dynamic clothes too - search on his/her name in freestuff. Most conforming clothes can be converted to dynamic with a little work - SergeMarck's tutorials will tell you how.

Or convert 'normal' clothing into dynamics. I do it sometimes, when the clothes won't follow a pose. I export the clothing character as OBJ and reimport it, to get a prop that can be clothyfied in the cloth room. This is a work in progress where I tried if I could get the skirt follow a kneeling pose. It worked quite well.
