Subject: how to export animation centered on origin?

I've animated a figure in Poser Artist to export frames as 3ds for use in a game. When I exported the animation sequences, the figure is standing on the ground, not centered on origin. How do I export the animated figure centered on its origin?

Maybe if you parented the figure to a "Dummy" object where the origin is. I'm not sure what is happening but I suspect it's do to there being no object to export as the origin. (The origin doesn't export unless there is a real object) You could use a very tiny box or something as the origin.
