Subject: The most retarded question ever asked on this forum

I am new to poser, and i am using the Poser 5's HiRes Don. This is probably the most retarded question ever asked on this forum, but some of the stuff that i download, i don't know where to stick it, or how to use it. I figured out how to do textures and stuff. but I don't know how to or where to put the hair files i download, or any clothing such as shorts and shirts. Any help would be appreciated.

Just click on the Poser Forum FAQ at the top of the page. It should answer your questions.

I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

...that's not so retarded... ;) If there is a 'readme' in the files you downloaded, try looking there; most of the times the author says where the different files should go. Also, in many cases the zip files are 'smart', so decompressing those in the main Poser 5 directory with the option 'use pathnames' or 'keep the directory structure' or however it's called, should put the files in the right places. In any case, follow the link i am attaching and read the FAQ, that is the best place to start, it answers most of the 'retarded' questions anyone could think of as well! Welcome on board and happy rendering!

That's far from the most retarded question ever asked. I think, hands down, the most retarded question ever asked around here has to be "Why isnt my real girlfriend more like Vickie?".

bustin a gut over here @ SeanMartin's comment...while at the same time daydreaming of being able to adjust the size of my 'blouse bunnies' with the mere twist of a dial at my whimsey ;P

oh..I dunno..you have so much competition..I don't know why this forum thinks it's so wrong to ask 'stupid' questions..the forum is here to share information (ok, and Koshini pics..;) and give you an idea of what Poser can do..so don't be afraid to ask..

i've asked a heap of stupid questions on my first day with poser..... hugs

Stupid question: "help! I downloaded Poser from a warez site, but I'm missing a lot of files. Can you email them to me?" A lot of the beginner questions van be answered by reading the manual, but some cannot, and sometimes the answer is hidden on a page or listed in the index under something one might not expect it to be.

Here's my tutorial that tells you where to stick it... But good... :D The only stupid question is the one that stays un-asked.

Gee we need a tutorial to tell us where to stick it? I get told where to that a lot :)
