thank you all for the many friendly comments. after all this questions and imaginations , i will lift the curtain. this is a Raku work. its a japanese technic in pottery. 1.the figure was fired in a gas stove.2.the figure comes in an pott filled with sawdust . this reduced O2 and the glaze get a cracelure and the colours are changing.the fire you see is the sawdust, it burns instandly ( but not for a long time ) when you put the figure out of the sawdust pott, because the air fired it. 3. after this the figure get dashed in water.

its not and ending and its not a beginning.its only one step more to be complete.
i like the tong as a symbol of the masters hand, he needs a tool to hold it, because it is to hot, he cant touch it with his hands,
but he holds it sure, there isnt any insecurity .
for me this can be a wonderful metapher to think about it . normaly my english dosnt allowed me to write about such things.hope you can understand what i mean. i only tried it.

Excellent shot before reading this... I feel that I am seeing a little into your personal life after reading the explanation... and all life is painted with the Master's hand... you just have to look for the beauty in it. Thanks for sharing this outstanding image with us.
