Subject: Reset Display Styles?

Svigor ( ) posted Thu, 23 September 2004 at 12:58 AM ยท edited Wed, 25 September 2024 at 3:17 PM

I just started playing with the display styles options, and now I wish I hadn't; everything is all mixed up now. When I change document display style only the body parts I haven't mixed up via the element display style change to the new setting. How do I get back to where I started, with everything affected by the document display style setting?

Unfortunately there isn't an "apply to all" for display styles. As far as I'm aware you will need to select each individual body part or prop and change it manually.

Maybe someone could write a script to change all elements within the picture back to document style (or any named style)?

For those using Poser 4 who don't have acess to Python I have written a pz2 (pose) file to reset the display mode of standard human figures to USEPARENT (the default setting). Open the link above, copy the text into a text editor, then save it to a Pose folder as "USEPARENT.PZ2". In Poser apply the pose to each figure in the document.

For props and nonstandard figures I'm afraid you will just have to reset them manually.

Mmmm, that worked like a charm, thanks very much lesbentley. I might have to learn Python scripting ;).
