Did you try saving the model as a .vob object and loading that object back into Vue 4.5 ?

I don't know about Vue 3.1 objects, but there's a converter app that comes with Vue 4 that will convert Vue 3 scenes into Vue 4 scenes. It might also work for objects (haven't tried yet).

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

I have been wondering ( more or less ) the same thing myself... though just from the perspective of an absolute beginner in Vue who's "test driving" the Vue 3.1 Limited Edition for the first time. It has an interesting rudimentary modeling system that allows creation of decent structures... but if I'm to get on in this app... well, I need more. Namely OBJ file export so that I might polish those structures in my other 3D apps ( mainly trueSpace ). Yes... I do try to do things as cheaply ( still just learning, after all... took me a couple of days to figure out how and which "Limited Edition" apps would allow me to get Xfrog into trueSpace and Vue ) as possible. But I still like to take advantage of the individual strengths of each one of them... and that means they absolutely must ( somehow ) be able to export/import to and/or from each other.

Vue d'Esprit, just like Bryce, does not have the capability to export objects in other formats. You will have to upgrade to Vue Pro to find that feature. Vue Pro can export to Lightwave and 3D Studio among other things.

You have not understood me (I can so have asked not successfully). Trying to load some files there is a message (1.jpg) That to me to do?

Ok.... so you are using Vue Pro. The conversion utility mentionned in the message is a little program available on the installation CD of Vue Pro. You will find instructions on how to use it on the CD 'case' you received with Vue Pro.
