Subject: Updating links to Freestuff?

Is there someway the system can be altered so as when links to free stuff are updated they don't suddenly (Shock, Horror - 15 links) appear in the "what's new" - it's not a problem I have seen before when I have moved servers but this time it did, and bearing in mind I haven't added a new download to free stuff for about 6 months, ALL the changed links were to old downloads, it turned out to be an expensive episode for me...

This could only be a one off thing or a gltch - but it may well worth be worthwhile investigating.

Just a quick further to this so as we don't get confused - most of the changes were only from uppercase to lower case as my previous server was a Windows machine which is a little more tolerant of naming conventions.

Hi tastiger, The reason older freestuff items appear in the "what's new section." When a freestuff item is changed "in anyway," the item has to be re-reviewed and approved before it can be re-uploaded to the Freestuff area. Dee-Marie
