I didnt reply to the original post since I havent tried anything like this before. But, Lets see. Maybe an animated shader? I think Carrara will allow animated shaders. Problem is it would be flat looking. -or- An animated terrain with a foam shader applied to it. You could create the bubbles/foam in a 2D app like Paint Shop pro and import that as a terrain map then try to animate the terrain map. I think this can be done also. Thats just a few things off the top of my head to maybe look into playing with. If I think of anything else I'll make sure to post back. I would like to see the image when you figure out how to do this. Clint

Hi Anybody know how to create a swirling, bubbling water effect like in a hot tub using Carrara? I've been trying to get this type of effect for 2 days. So far I can get the water jet effect by using particle emitters to work some what. What would work for creating the bubbling, frothing effect? Any help would be greatly appreciated Ed
