Subject: help! putting pieces together

I have Rhino 3d, and was wondering how to render individual pieces of the componets that make up my picture, I.E. different wall surfaces for say, wallpaper, another is a toilet for a bath room. If I import the whole thing into Bryce from Rhino it looks like I get a negative, and then to ungroup the objects and work on them individually seems to be a real drag. Is there a way to put back a piece that's been ungrouped exactly where it came from?
